The Vocal House
We started out as the choir nerds in school, the singer-songwriters, and bedroom producers with an obsession for vocals and BIG harmonies.
We spent the last decade honing the craft of vocal arranging, composition, performance, and recording.
Founding 'The Inner Voices’, a nationally-acclaimed touring vocal ensemble along the way.
Proud to call Cardiff our home, we're based in the heart of the 'Land of Song', with strong connections to London, Manchester, and the international vocal music scene .
Meet the Team
Winner of 'Best Music Producer of the Year' at the Audio UK Production Awards 2024, James is a vocal composer, choral producer and self-proclaimed harmony nerd.
Credits include: providing the choir for Netflix's 'Sex Eduction' Seasons 2 & 3, and writing mnemonics for major brands including IKEA, recently being a shortlisted composer at the Production Music Awards 2025.
He is also a BBC Audio producer with Overcoat Media - credits include The Mindful Mix (with Anna Lapwood, Sue Perkins, and Joe Wicks), Satire & The Stave with Chris Addison, and The Colours In Sound (a series about orchestration and arranging with Grammy award winning composer Caroline Shaw).
When he’s not creating something musical, you’ll find him choosing which cocker-spaniel puppy he wants to get one day.

Charlie Pittaway - Co-Founder & Producer
Charlie is a performer and composer with over a decade experience in music directing, vocal arranging and bespoke composition for media & live performance, having recently been shortlisted as a composer for the Production Music Awards 2025.
Credits include: IKEA mnemonic ‘THINGS’, vocal arranger for Tom Ball’s album ‘Curtain Call’, Music Director & vocal arranger of the first a cappella group to win the UK Open A Cappella Competition in 2020 & 2024, music director of the Sex eduction season 1 choir and for the successful 4-star Edinburgh Fringe show ‘Hurly Burly, reviewed by BroadwayBaby & ThreeWeeks.
She also specialises in session singing Irish/Scottish/Welsh Trad music, directing choir workshops across the UK and is the current co-music director of the vocal group The Inner Voices.
If she manage to pull herself out of her music induced bubble, she loves wild water swimming and eating TASTY food.
Orion Joski-Jethi - Audio & Mix Engineer
A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, mixer and award-winning beatboxer, Orion Joski-Jethi has dipped his toes in a variety of musical endeavours. Writing various styles from Japanese idol pop to cinematic orchestral scores, he has cultivated a specialisation in 80s/synth production. Recently, Orion has produced multiple original video game soundtracks, including as lead composer and SFX for original short video game, Eternal Cycle.
Orion has also beatboxed professionally as deputy for The Sons of Pitches and Fortissimi string quartet, and is currently the primary beatboxer with The Inner Voices. Elsewhere, Orion can be found co-producing & hosting the nostalgic movie podcast, ‘One of Us is a Filmmaker’.
